Hawaiian Shirts

Waikiki Waves Hawaiian Shirt one of many
great selections from hawaiian-shirt.net
Fortune smiles. I was racking my brain to figure out my next post. It wasn't looking good for a decent topic, when along comes a comment on my post from yesterday. "Hawaiian Shirt Guy" wrote that he thought the alternative Christmas tree was a great idea. Being the curious guy I am, I clicked on his link and it took me to an online store. Normally this would annoy me, however what I found there won me over.

Before I go on, the link is hawaiian-shirt.net. Check them out and you'll find that the store not only has a wide selection but also has a feature I really appreciate, the ability to search by fabric type. Choices are cotton, rayon, silk and hemp. That feature alone makes this a great site to visit.

But there's more... They have an online vintage shop. This is where you can get a good look at where the style and pattern traditions have come from. If you're in the buying mood, you can get some great looking shirts with a possible history. This represents a good opportunity if you want to start your own collection of vintage Aloha shirts. For more on the Aloha shirt, check out my previous post here.

FYI, even though this is an enthusiastic review of this site (and completely without compensation of any kind), keep in mind I have yet to order anything from them. They seem very legit, but use the usual precautions when buying from anyone online.

As with everyone who has dropped by for a look, I'm hoping that Hawaiian Shirt Guy will keep checking in. I would love to hear what's on your mind or even suggest topics if they occur to you.

Aloha.
